July 19, 2015 - Lake Pelham

Went over to Lake Pelham, put in around 5.  It was bright, hot, and unpromising.

Paddled around and caught a bunch of small bluegills on poppers.  Made my way to the head of the lake to see whether there were any carp around, but I didn't see any.  The put-in off of Henrietty looks impossible, even if the beaver dam was breached.  It's amazing how much sediment has accumulated over the last 2 years.

Cast a small jig with a curly tail on the paddle back to the ramp, caught a couple of small white perch.  I don't know whether fish come in any other size in this lake.

Took out at about 8, went home.
